Happy Birthday to you!
My nephew Kal has become a teenager today. Where did the time go? We were just playing at Chucky Cheese when he used to come and stay with us in the summer and now he is 13.

I hope you have a wonderful day. See you tonight at your birthday dinner.

1st Birthday

On Sunday we went to my cousin's daughter Ella's 1st birthday party. Happy to be 1!Ella LOVED the cupcakes.
My aunt Emily made this cute bib for Ella.On Saturday Heather's bridesmaids and I got together to plan her shower. It was nice to have a little adult conversation, along with a margarita.
Heather, Tracy, Katie and JennyKatie brought baby Callie..what a cutie.who is always full of smiles.Heather brought Taylor and Tracy brought her kids Amara and Bryson. As you can see below..if you can't beat em'..join them. LOL If Bryson had to play with three girls, he might as well join in on playing dress up.
On Sunday we visited Grandma Jeannie and Papa Bob. Lexi and Will helped Grandma Jeannie plant a tree. Lexi dug the hole and Will filled it with water. (maybe a bit too much water?) Good little helpers.
Rick took the kids to the big event in Neenah this weekend. They had fun riding in the big equipment and the item they liked best...rolling down the big sand pile. LOL

Cute...

Since we had such a quiet weekend (well it was busy, but at least I didn't have to pack a suitcase), I don't have much to blog this week. I did come across a couple of cute items I thought I would share.
A couple of weeks ago Lexi had a tea party at her daycare that she attends during the summer for her grandparents. The girls made name tags and dressed up in dresses for their guests. Below is Grandma Jeannie, cousin Leighten, Lexi, Grandma Joanne and Will (siblings got to come too). They had a nice time drinking tea and eating cake.
This morning Will insisted on wearing his superman costume to walk Lexi to school. He looked so darn funny biking down the street with his cape blowing in the breeze. Of course he couldn't ride his batman bike with his superman costume on, that crosses the line. So he HAD to ride his Cars bike instead. A couple of people even waved to superman. Too cute...

Action Packed...

We spent the last weekend of summer staying very busy and had a ton of fun. The kids are officially exhausted today. We started out Saturday afternoon riding the amusement rides at the county fair.

Nice outfits Lexi and Will are wearing, right? Well they were until they started chasing each other behind one of the beer stands and both of them fell in a mud puddle. Mud everywhere. Lucky Carol Brady had extra clothes along.

Saturday night the whole family went to the stock car races. Since dad retired from racing last year, we cheered on our friends Dan and Nate Michonski. Dan ended up winning his heat and feature. He had a good cheering section up in the stands.

Dan slowly taking a lead...

What?....Where in the hell did my door go? Oh wait....there it is. Attached to 00's bumper! On Sunday we went to cheer on our friends Mike, Mark and Jeff. They ended up winning the Grand BABA 10-5. Congrats guys.
JeffMy friend Joni...she not only has a smile on her face because her husband's team won, but she is on her way to pick up the babysitter. :)My cousin Pete, Rick, Will and my brother-in-law Kyle. While we were gone Miley was at Grandma and Grandpa's house having a playdate with her cousin Lenny.
What a great summer...will miss it, but looking forward to being home for at least one weekend.
