Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!

We actually made it until midnight this year!  I think we did last year too, but slept on and off before then. ha ha  This year we spent our New Year with great friends, the Bartz and Fischer families.  The kids and adults had a great time.  We started the evening off by going out for dinner.

Todd playing hide n' seek with the kids.  Rick helped him get up there with a ladder.  Kids could't find him without a little help. :)

We still haven't let him back down as of this posting. ;)
Hope everyone had a great New Year as well!!!

Sledding Fun...

Over Christmas vacation we were able to spend one of the days sledding at one of our favorite hills!  It might be our favorite because it contains a pull rope so you don't have to walk if you don't want to.  There are two hills, one with a tow rope, so sometimes we do walk up the hill.  After all of those Christmas cookies, that first walk up the hill was a killer.

The day was GORGEOUS!  It was actually snowing and NOT blowing while it snowed, so the temperature was perfect.  What a fun day.  Everyone there was laughing and smiling, helping push big groups of people down the hills.  Just a great family day.  We took our friends Abbie and Maddie along and happened to run into our neighbors there as well, so lots of friends to go down the hills with. :)
