Another Christmas come and gone..but many wonderful memories made. Yes, it is stressful with getting everything decorated, shopping, parties, baking, wrapping, cards..but I love all of it and am sad to see it go. I will miss the Christmas cards coming in the mail, the holiday music in the stores, the smell of the tree and the hunt for the perfect gift for my friends and family. I also make sure to take a step back from it all and take a moment to be thankful for how blessed we are.
The Friday before Christmas I made some cupcakes for Christmas day...
Also on Friday, Rick and I went to the kids school to the "all school sing-a-long" where Lexi was a part of the student counsil that led the other kids in song.
Friday night we drove to dad's house and the kids and I camped out by the tree.
Saturday, Christmas Eve morning we had these cute snowman donuts for breakfast.
Will and I gave Dad a quick haircut before church.
This year Leopolis did not have Christmas Eve Mass again, so we decided instead of missing it again, we would go to mass in Marion. It definitely wasn't the same as our little church on the hill, but still a nice service and fun to get dressed up.

When we came home from church, we discovered that Santa had come. Heather, Jim and Taylor came over and we opened the gifts we had gotten each other. Here is Lexi with her new make-up bag.
Taylor with her new Brewers hat from Jim and Heather.
Will and his new Mickey Mouse bowl and cup in memory of our Disney trip this year.
After presents, Rick's family joined us for supper and games.
Our niece Leighten and Will trying out Will's new nerf gun set.
Lizzie and Lenny running around while our well behaved Miley looks on...lol.
Grandma Joanne and Will
Christmas morning we got up very early and headed out to Grandma Joanne and Papa Ron's house in our Christmas jammies to open gifts with Rick's family.

First cousins...Leighten, Kal, Will and Lexi
For lunch on Christmas Day we went to Rick's dad's side of the family which was held at his cousin Brian and Heidi's new house this year. (which was beautiful by the way) The kids love going because there is no shortage of kids to play with here.
For Christmas Day supper, we went to my sister's house where we celebrated with my mom's side of the family. It went so fast I didn't even get one picture. :( Later in the evening the Packers played, so we stayed to watch the game with Heather and family and Tracy and kids.
Below is Lizzie and Lenny playing again.
Tracy's dog Roscoe..
and again Miley not looking impressed by the immature behavior of the other dogs. lol
Will and Lexi playing a new game with Amara and Bryson
The day after Christmas I met some of the girls I grew up with, along with my second moms and some of our kids. It was a nice ladies luncheon.
The youngest out of the ladies..Callie and Meylor
All of the girls (minus Meylor..one pic was enough for her)
Lexi, Taylor, Callie and MiKayla
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas as well!
