What a fun day we had visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Little Falls. We worked most of the day on Saturday cleaning the basement, so since it was supposed to be sunny and 60 on Sunday we decided to head north for the day and spend some time outside.
Will on the tractor swing.
Rick and his Dad putting the seat on the gator...
Kids playing on the swinging bridge. Our long time family friend Amara came along with us for the day too. :)
Grandma grilled us a delicious lunch. Something for everyone..steak, burgers and hot dogs.
Time to ride...
Rick, Lexi and Will
Enjoying the ride...
Me and Amara...
Amara has a need for speed...lol.
Passing by Billy the Elk...
Switch drivers!
Usually don't meet many other vehicles in the woods, but we did today. Ashley, Jen and Rick's Uncle Bill
After our ride, we decided to do some softball/baseball practice at the ball diamond. Played a short game, girls and against boys. Boys won. :-/
Next it was off for a nature walk...
Amara, my niece Taylor and Lexi
My sister's dogs..Lizzy and Lenny with
Taylor, Lexi and Marley
Heather and I posing like it was our senior pictures...lol.
Heather and Lenny, both scared to cross the make shift bridge to a little island.
Before we headed back, the girls begged to jump rocks because as they pleaded..they were really close together and they would be careful. We gave in and allowed them to cross on the rocks while the adults talked. Then it occurred to me, I should really take photos, you KNOW one of them is going to slip and fall in.
Careful Lexi...
Whoa!!!!
Amara's turn...careful!
Whew..made that one.
That is a big jump Amara is thinking...
and....she didn't quite make it and the photographer missed the shot because it happened so quick. Poor Amara...cold water and fell on the rocks. She was the unlucky one, but it could have happened to any of them.
Rick helping Amara get back so she didn't fall again.
Lexi hoping she isn't the next one to feel the cold water.
Amara being a good sport, posing for me all wet. :)
Getting to be supper time, one last ride and it is time to go home. This time the dogs got to come along. :)
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a really fun day !
