Happy Birthday Todd

Happy Birthday Todd - or as many of us fondly refer to you as "Tito". Todd is 30 again this year - not sure how he does it. He and his wife Jenny are one of our closest friends and he is the godfather to our son Will. As I previously stated about my brother-in-law Kyle, Todd's laughter is also contagious. Have a great birthday Tito!

A nice fall day..

The weather was gorgeous this weekend. I know they predicted 75 and although I didn't check to see what the temp got up to, it had to have been at least that. Unfortunately we spent a better part of the weekend shopping. (Will is moving into a big boy bed - Lexi's current bed - so we were shopping for new mattresses and headboards) We finally got outside this afternoon and went to a park near our house. It has a nice playground and walking trails through the woods.

Soccer Season Ends

Tonight was Lexi's last night of soccer. They ended up losing by one point, but did manage to score two goals. Her spectators tonight were my mom (although she managed to avoid the camera), dad and sister. We celebrated the conclusion to the season by taking her to Culvers for dinner. Great job Lexi! (pics aren't great - they look better close up)

Dad and Heather - they were actually taunting my mother and I in this photo (hence the hoods being up) because they had warm jackets with hoods and we only had little sweatshirts on. It was COLD and windy when the sun went down.

First Trip to the Movie Theatre

Will went to his first movie Saturday night to see WALL-E. We went to the value cinema in Menasha where they serve food. (in hopes food would keep him occupied if he lost interest in the movie)

I am happy to say he did awesome. He got a little bored at the end, but wasn't disruptive enough to be taken out of the theatre. Lexi, Will and Alec

A new driver in the family

We have had this "CAT" sitting in the basement for many years. My sister-in-law gave it to us when our nephew Kal outgrew it. Since Will has been taking a great interest in riding Lexi's cars, we figured we better get a battery for it. It is much more masculine than Lexi's pink Barbie jeep and her blue princess convertible. :) He doesn't quite get the concept of taking his foot off from the gas before he crashes into something, but I am sure that will come with time.
