What a beautiful weekend! I will take 70's in October anytime. On Saturday we went out to Little Falls and walked along the river. Below are some pics from our nature walk.
The big find of the day was turkey feathers..somewhere out there is a very bald turkey. Maybe he is trying to disguise himself as Thanksgiving if drawing near. :)
The kids loved crossing this makeshift bridge to get to an island to explore. Miley on the other hand wasn't as enthusiastic...Rick had to carry her. Lexi with Bill and Karen's kitties..The drive from Leopolis to Little Falls is breath taking this time of year. These are a few that I snapped out the window. The pictures aren't nearly as awesome as the seeing them in person.
When we got back to Papa Bob's house we made hot chocolate and had a campfire with these huge marshmallows.
Dad was in need of a haircut this weekend, so the kids helped me trim him up. Lexi was in charge of cutting and Will was in charge of vacuuming up the hair. It was so cute. :) Lexi was in all her glory..thought it was so cool. (good thing dad is a little bald already in case we messed up) Dad was a good sport. Anyone else interested? They work cheap.
We spent the last week of summer vacation camping in Fremont. It was our first trip here and we all had a really nice time. We rented a small cabin for three nights and for the most part had great weather.
