Disney - Day 4

Day 4 was a bit more relaxing.  We headed for Blizzard Beach, a water park, and it didn't open until 10 a.m., so we got to sleep in a little bit.  It was very hot again, so the water felt great and instead of going to Epcot in the afternoon, we gave up our reservations at an Italian restaurant to stay until Blizzard Beach closed at 5:00 p.m.
Here is Will catching up with Papa Bob while we wait for the bus to pick us up. (Hey Josh..welcome back to a Wisconsin team..go Brewers!)
Lexi melting in the sun hoping the next bus is ours.
Abbie enjoying the wave pool.
This is called Summit Plummet. It is one of the tallest, fastest water slides around. (12 story drop, 120 feet high)Basically it is a water slide that you lay on your back and drop straight down. Lexi and Rick did it twice and Maddie and Josh did it once. They are all crazy as far as I am concerned..yikes, it looked really scary. The picture makes it seem like you go off that jump, but the slide actually just goes straight down. We are finding differences in the younger kids bravery too. Abbie went on Tower of Terror (where you are dropped 13 stories while
sitting in an elevator) but won't go on a water slide if you go under at the bottom, where Will won't go on Tower of Terror, but will go down a pitch black water slide on a tube by himself and get dumped out the bottom and not blink an eye. lol

Sporting the water shoes...
We left the water park around 5:30 and came back to the hotel and cleaned up a bit. Then me, Rick, Will and Abbie went and had some dinner and they just played with their DS's in the room and watched a movie.  The die-hards - Tammy, Josh, Lexi and Maddie went to back to Magic Kingdom to ride the 3 biggest rides and then headed over to Hollywood Studios because they were open until 1 a.m.to ride the Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster again.  They finally got home around midnight.  Although exhausted, they said there were no lines and they had a blast. I don't know how they did it, I was tired from swimming.  Some of those rides you had to walk 125 stairs to get to (yes, I counted).  Tammy and I are always gabbing and we had to pause while talking just to take a breath because there were so many stairs!  lol It only rained for about a 1/2 hour today, not near as hard as yesterday and it was when we were leaving the water park so it worked out great.
